Go Room 40!

This last week was Red Ribbon Week at school. The focus of the week is to SAY NO TO DRUGS. Our school celebrates and encourages our kids to make positive choices about drugs. We do fun activities all week. One activity is a poster contest. Each class each comes up with a poster to hang in front of their room with their own catchy slogan about staying drug-free. For the 2nd year in a row my class won for the 6th grade.

Our poster said, "Have you Heard the BUZZ? BEE-ing drug free is the way to BEE!" The border of the poster was so cute. Each student in class made a bee with their name on it as their pledge to be drug free.
Another fun activity was dressing up to say, "BOO to DRUGS!". Of course, I'll jump at any chance to dress up- as will my friend, Sara. She won the costume contest for her Santa in October. Hi-larious!
