Soooo Big!

A couple weeks ago... when I was on blog-hiatus, my little 4 year old dare devil learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She had been wanting to take them off for a few weeks, but we hesitated... she's so small. Could my 31lb. baby really do this??

We took her to our favorite family spot- Puddingstone Lake, and after about 30 minutes she was on her own.

All it took was a little help from Daddy... A little falling down along the way...
And Wa-Lah!! We have Take Off!

This is the face of SuCcEsS!! She put her mind to it & she did it! That is a spirit that hope she will keep for the rest of her life. Way to go, Sierra!

Starting It Up Again...

I have been blog-free for months now... and this is what I've learned:

1. It's nice to go to event and not be thinking in the back of my mind what the post title will be

2. It's nice to be in the moment of the event, not watching it from the backside of my camera

3. I MISS seeing updated pictures of my kids (I've been taking them and leaving them in the abyss of my camera card)

4. My family isn't getting to stay current with what is going on with us- and you all know I am the worst at calling on the phone!

So, lesson learned. I must blog. I like doing it, sharing, etc. My new goal is to throw something out there once a week... and forgive myself if I don't get to it. No guilt. Baby steps(:
So, to start...
this little doozy of a photo was taken by Sara... and I'm so glad to have it. This picture recorded a big step for any Cub Scout- BOBCAT status. Eli is loving scouts and he was really proud to stand with some of his friends in a ceremony recognizing his commitment to the pack. I was a proud Mama (AKA den mother) that night(;
