Top O' The Morning to Ya!

St Patty's Day at our house looked a little like this:

Kids wearing as much green as we could find in their closets!

Leprechaun Trap for 1st grade homework... this might become a new family tradition. It was pretty fun to make.
And green nails for the girls... of course! We made a special trip last night to CVS for this all important polish. I hope we find some gold at the end of our day(: ...Well maybe just getting our tax return in the mail would be good(;

Green Eggs & Ham

It's National Read Across America week and schools all over are having their Dr. Seuss celebrations. At Sierra's preschool, they are eating Green Eggs & Ham today, watching the movie and doing crafts. I love to take days like this and pump it up a little to get her excited. I made an over-the-top giant hair bow, planned on her wearing knee high socks with her Dr. Seuss Converse tennies and asked her what else could we do?? She said she wanted a shirt.... Old Navy, Target, iron-on at Michael's I hoped. Nope... so homemade it is and she was so proud (thank God). She was decked out today ... now let's just see if she actually ate the eggs(:
